Pump Boys & Dinettes

I’m super stoked to be back in rehearsals again for the silly, crowd-pleasing, country-tinged musical Pump Boys & Dinettes. This will be my first time back at Miner’s Alley since Fun Home back in 2018 and I’m having a blast!

A fun story about my history with this show: When I was 14, my parents took the whole family to visit the magical town of Creede, Colorado. My dad had an old friend named Christy Brandt, who is a legend in Creede — she has performed in over 50 seasons with Creede Repertory Theatre. I have loved theatre for as long as I can remember, so while we were in town, Christy arranged for me to sit in on rehearsals for the show they were working on at the time. That show just so happened to be Pump Boys & Dinettes — and I went to rehearsal every single day, eager to watch something magical being built from scratch. I also definitely had a performer's crush on Molly Lehan, the woman playing Prudie Cupp — or, as I'd later come to understand, maybe just a crush-crush — the very role I'm now getting a chance to play myself. Full circle, huh?

It means so much to bring Prudie to life at Miner's Alley, in a town I love, with people I adore. I can't wait for you to see what we're cooking up.

Tickets are on sale now — I'd love to see your face in the audience! Buy tickets here!
